Absolutely horrified. Should have waited before reviewing.
It was an awkward meet up, as he (Ilie) obviously wanted a date to start and sat in silence waiting for me to decide on the spot . I said I would be in touch, but would be looking at the end of the month. I now believe he thought I hired him.
I received the following text from Ilie when I informed him I was not going ahead 'as yet':

I'm sorry that I trusted you, that now all the jobs that I would refuse refuse me and I don't have any work at the moment.
Now I don't have anything to go on vacation with. thanks for ruining everything for me. have a nice day
...
What an absolute child and how unprofessional!
Do not entertain him. He said I was the only person who contacted him, and now I can see why.

I couldn’t be happier with the work done on my home. The builder was professional, reliable, and delivered top-quality results.
